Why are you just sitting there when you can be trimming your tummy without even
getting up? I first learned about isometric tummy exercises while reading an old book as a teen. Back then I did the isometric tummy exercises though I really didn’t need too, now is another story.
You can really see the inches come off if you DEVOUTLY do isometric tummy exercises throughout the day. If you work at a desk, put up a sticky note to remind yourself to do them. Isometric Belly Exercises Sitting
Sitting straight up in a chair, take a deep breath in and expand your tummy. When you exhale, squeeze your belly back in, as if you were trying to push it through your back. Repeat this as many times as you can throughout the day. You can do this on the couch while watching a movie with the family, in the car, at your desk, wherever you sit.
Isometric Belly Exercises While Laying Down
The same isometric technique can be done while you are laying down. Do a few of these each morning and every night. Breath in, expand belly using your muscles, breathe out pressing tummy towards your back. Repeat.
